Due to the forecasted severe weather threat for later this afternoon, WRH15 has cancelled all afterschool practices and activities for today, Monday, April 27, 2026. Regular dismissal and transportation will occur as scheduled. We will keep an eye on the weather conditions and if anything else were to change, we will communicate those updates to parents. Aaliyah Fitzgerald, a 7th grade student from LCJH Student Council, presented to the Wood River-Hartford Board of Education at the Tuesday, March 24th School Board Meeting. Aaliyah is one of the IAJHSC Southwest District Representative candidates and she practiced her speech for this year's IAJHSC State Convention. The election will take place at the IAJHSC Convention in April. We are so very proud of her and wish her success in her endeavor!
Early Online Registration for the 2026-2027 school year for returning students will be April 3 through May 29, 2026.

Kindergarten Registrtion for the 2026-2027 school year is this afternoon from 3 - 6 pm in the District Board Room, 501 E Lorena Avenue, Wood River, (Entrance L-1).
Today we had students participate in Junior Olympiad at SIUE. This was the 45th Annual Junior Olympiad and it was hosted by Dr. Robert Werden, Regional Superintendent of Schools and the Regional Office Education.
