Kindergarten Registrtion for the 2026-2027 school year is this afternoon from 3 - 6 pm in the District Board Room, 501 E Lorena Avenue, Wood River, (Entrance L-1).


Today we had students participate in Junior Olympiad at SIUE. This was the 45th Annual Junior Olympiad and it was hosted by Dr. Robert Werden, Regional Superintendent of Schools and the Regional Office Education.
Congratulations to our 7th grade Team on Fourth Place! The 7th grade team was made up by Piper Nizinski, Sophie Buerke, Lincoln Brame and Hudson Gonzales. Congratulations!!!

March 1 - March 7, 2026 is National School Social Worker Week!

Our Oiler Boy's Basketball All Academic Team was recognized by their coaches, Coach Daniels and Coach Overton, at the Board meeting last night. The qualifications for this All Academic team is honor roll, good attendance and being a good student. The team is made up of one 8th grade student, Malik Turner and 7th grade students, Gabe Daniels, Lincoln Brame, Hudson Gonzales and Harrison Hawkins. Great job boys and coaches!

Dear Parents, this is Patrick Anderson, Superintendent of Wood River Hartford School District and this message is to inform you that tomorrow, December 2nd will be a remote learning day for all students. Again, due to the inclement weather and continued snow accumulation, there will be no in person learning tomorrow and instead will be an eLearning day. Students should look for instructions from their teachers for tomorrow’s assignments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
WRH15 will be dismissing students at 1 p.m. today due to the inclement weather. Busses will leave the school at 1 p.m. and drop off at their regular stops.
