This is the final WRH15 2025/2026 School Calendar. Wednesday, May 20th is the last day of school with an 11:30 am dismissal.

Oiler Football Camp

Due to the forecasted severe weather threat for later this afternoon, WRH15 has cancelled all afterschool practices and activities for today, Monday, April 27, 2026. Regular dismissal and transportation will occur as scheduled. We will keep an eye on the weather conditions and if anything else were to change, we will communicate those updates to parents. Early Online Registration for the 2026-2027 school year for returning students will be April 3 through May 29, 2026.

Letters will be mailed home to families later this week that will include detailed instructions for registering.

Due to dangerously cold temperatures expected in the morning and worsening throughout the day, WRH15 will observe a remote learning day tomorrow, Friday, January 23, 2026.

Students should follow their teachers' guidance for remote instruction and assignments.

Dear Parents, this is Patrick Anderson, Superintendent of Wood River Hartford School District and this message is to inform you that tomorrow, December 2nd will be a remote learning day for all students. Again, due to the inclement weather and continued snow accumulation, there will be no in person learning tomorrow and instead will be an eLearning day. Students should look for instructions from their teachers for tomorrow’s assignments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

WRH15 will be dismissing students at 1 p.m. today due to the inclement weather. Busses will leave the school at 1 p.m. and drop off at their regular stops.

St. John United Church of Christ, 228 N. 6th Street, Wood River, has asked us to let our families know that they will be serving a free Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday, November 25th beginning at 5:30 pm. The doors open at 5 pm and food will be served at 5:30 pm and they will continue to serve until the food is gone.
