WRH15 purchased a new smaller bus. One very neat feature on this bus is it's very long and lit up bus stop arm. When it is open and students are loading and unloading, it extends well into the other lane. We have been having issues with cars not stopping when the stop arm is out and lights are flashing, clearly signaling for them to stop. We hope this newer bus with it's longer arm will help. It is dangerous for drivers not to stop or try to go around the busses when they are loading or unloading. Getting ticketed for running/passing a bus loading/unloading can be a very expensive mistake. Please help to keep our students safe by stopping when the busses signal they are loading and unloading.

Dear Parents, This is to inform you that due to the forecast of ice and snow tomorrow morning, there will be no in-person school on Wednesday, February 12th for WRH15. Instead, students will participate in a remote learning day. Again, tomorrow will be a remote learning day. Students were told to take their devices home today to ensure they are prepared for virtual instruction. Please check for communications from teachers regarding assignments and schedules. Thank you and please stay safe.

Dear Parents, We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow, and there is a possibility of inclement winter weather that could impact in-person learning. In preparation for a potential e-learning day, we will be sending devices home with students today to ensure they are ready in case we need to transition to remote learning. Please make sure your child has their device and any necessary materials with them this evening, and ensure they are charged and ready for use tomorrow. We will provide further updates should an e-learning day be implemented. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Stay safe and warm!

Based on the forecast of additional snow this evening into the early hours of tomorrow morning, school for tomorrow, Friday, January 10th will be a remote learning day.”
7 months ago, Chrissy Malone
After careful consideration of the current weather conditions and the impact on student safety, we will make tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th a remote learning day for all students.  While this does not set a precedent for closing school solely due to low temperatures, the combined factors of low temperatures, the dangers of walking to school with compacted snow, and challenges with bussing create a situation where prioritizing safety is essential.  Again, school for tomorrow, January 8th will be a remote learning day for all students.
